The Spades (Crew Only/Must Post)

The Swimming Lion was floating well an it seemed they were gonna need to quickly learn who to live with one another, or be kicked from the crew leading to death. He would walk up the stairs leading to his position as captain, by the wheel where he could see his domain. The beautiful blue, the magnificent ocean. He walked to the side pressing the distress alarm hoping to catch the crews attention and get them to scramble to the deck, which after everyone arrived he would turn the siren off an prepare to speak with his crew.

The Alarm is set and Quinn is already on his feet, on pure instinct snatching his boots and sliding them on. His eyes are still closed but his body is working out of pure fear! The horrible acts his Father and his crew forced upon him in his stay..! The Water balloons....The fungus..!! THE NEVER ENDING HORRORS HE FACED!!!! HE'S SEEN SOME SHIT MAN!!!!
His sword and pack his clicked on around his waist the blade resting upon his left hip as he fastens the holster for his pistol, he plops the black hat with the wide brim and the red cloth wrapped around it atop his head, a purple feather being added decoratively to the brim of the cap.
He moves at his top speed, even utilizing his Umi-Sen Ken to arrive at the top of the deck beside his Captain as his mind makes itself aware of the implied danger.

He has not drawn his sword or pistol, but a simple wariness is apparent as he looks around fretfully for potential threats, staying on the balls of his feet, keeping light, keeping ready. Ready to rush to the engines and have them bolt for there lives if need be! A fight would be pointless after all unless they could catch us, still he see's no immediate threat but does not let his guard down. Looking around nervously he "O-oi, Cap'n what's the issue??" He asks ready to call forth the pride in his body at a moments notice, perhaps even rush out to an enemy ship and shatter it so he can run away better.

Cowardly? You bet! Effective? Even more so. Still he doesn't see an enemy yet.

Ruzae was sleep until he heard the alarm quickly waking up and grabbing his gun blade he would turn to smoke and make his way up to the deck. But only to see no threat what so ever as he made it he would see Taiga standing by the alarm and some guy standing beside him. Ruzae still as a cloud if smoke would then float towards then and only reform his upper body and the Gun Blade. "You know you picked a wrong time to do a drill I was sleep" He would then look at the other guy with the long hair. "Hey Sunny Boy who's purple head?" he said as he would then reform his feet and land behind them.

Unaware that the crew consisted of more members then just her and Taiga, Rose slept peacefully, bright gold rifle clutched to her chest. She slept in her usual attire of long black coat, white tank top, black combat boots, and black fingerless gloves. While this may have seemed uncomfortable, she was always dressed to move in a hurry. When the alarm sounded, she awoke with almost soldier like awareness, dropping from the crows nest and rolling, rifle raised. Noticing that there was no actual threat, and several people she didn't recognize, she slung her rifle over her shoulder. "Uhh Captain? What are we doing?

Taiga smile and flipped the switch turning off the alarm, "Well. Sorry for the rude awakening but it is time for the crew to get to know one another, let's start with this man here...." Taiga pointed to Quinn "He is my first-mate and so if he gives you an order you better follow it, he speaks for me. Next up is Ruzae..." his hand drifted over to the man he named, "This is the ships Navigator so he is essential to use all. Last but not least we have Rose the sharpshooter. These are your crew mates understood?" Taiga had what seemed like a mile long grin as he spoke with his authority.

Quinn glances at the new crew mates and grins, sweeping his hat from his head and bowing in a showy manner "At yer service Mate." Quinn says with a wide grin, as he plops his hat back upon his head and glances towards the others. One man, the Navigator with a very strangely shaped sword, very interesting considering the abilities he's displayed earlier.

And the one who was introduced as the Sharpshooter, is the one who dropped from the crows nest, prepared for combat. Rose, well she is fairly attractive, but best not to get involved with a woman whom he'll see constantly...
Besides that gun looks as if it'd go other places if he wasn't careful. Still if it came down to it, he's fairly sure he can work with these two depending on there reactions and how they act.

"Like Sunshine said I'm the navigator and if I'm going to be working with you all guess you should get to know me, my name is Ruzae Hawune Gale and well I'm a ex-marine. Blah blah blah just don't bother me as I might kill you...cause as of now the other of ranking of you all are still on my bad side." He said as he would strap his blade on his back. "Also if I start acting weird please and I mean it when I say punch me" knowing this.much seemed like it was enough to tell them of course he wouldn't try to get drunk it just happens.

Rose wasn't sure how she felt about her crewmembers as she leaned against the ships mast. Quinn seemed nice, but Ruzae was quite rude. She could get along with them, she supposed. She smiled and spoke calmly. "I'm Rose, the sharpshooter as he said. I'll be in the crows nest, keeping an eye out. Come up there if you need me."
She was interested in being friendly to them, but she wasn't sure their respective feelings on the matter. So she would wait till she had an opportune moment.

Taiga smiles as he simple gives the order "Everyone! To your stations, prepare to swing around to Port side! We are going on a raid!" the sea breeze blowing through caused the brim of his hate to shake an the overcoat to ruffle with his scarf, He was in command now things were sure to run well plus this would lead to tell of how well they will get along with each other. His right palm resting on the hilt of his black katana, he was only wearing one as the other was in his personal ship storage. He was standing up high with the rudder wheel his left hand resting as he prepared to turn sailing toward the village of in the distance.

Before he would dock up to the villages port a demonic grin on his face, "Prepare the forward cannons, we are gonna give them the wake up call." The ship would continue creeping towards the port, the cannon fire would ring through the calm destroying the port side homes and shops. After about 6 shots from each cannon he would shout "Seize Fire! Prepare to run ashore!!!" sliding up to the docks the crew would be able to run down a set of stairs and on the land. Taiga of course would fall behind them on purpose shouting, "Take the money, the gold, the rum, the beer, food, take it all every resource an valuable they have!" Taiga would be arriving at the start of the land watching the raid take place a wicked smile on his face.

Quinn decides very quickly, he will have no problem punching that man. He thinks with a very deadpan look on his face, he nods smiling weakly. Well, there's always one cut-throat in a group like this he supposes...
Still that smoke ability is interesting, what kind of technique is that? And can he steal it and make it his own? If he finds something useful, he takes it and uses it. That's the way of Musabetsu Kakuto Ryu.
Umi-sen Ken should be enough, for this particular venture he thinks as the Captain begins the raid.
He grins slightly as the cannon-fire rings out in his eardrums and he adds in "Especially the rum!" To lighten a bit of tension that may have gathered from the sudden influx of action from a relatively peaceful situation. Right, dashing along the port side at his natural speed, which one would note is still rather fast he gathers sacks and rope, tossing them to Ruzae, while he prepares a few himself. They won't be able to haul all there loot by hand after all, there only three people and he imagines the Sniper will want to keep away just in case she needs to cover a retreat.

If all goes as directed, Quinn rushes down the set of stairs keeping low with his hand pressed against the hilt of his sword, the sacks and rope over his right shoulder looped around his chest slightly for easy carrying. He looks a bit excited, no need to kill anyone, just take what you want and get out...
After the cannons he doubt anyone will be brave enough to actually fight back..

Intimidation is a beautiful thing.

Walking g down to the bar with his gun blade in hand he would casually walk through the utter most chaos. A cannon ball would fly past his face as he would enter the hole it made in the bar. "A drink for me and a living tell for all" he said as he would take
 the rum and drink it.

Rose sighed, but this was the sort of thing she had expected to get into. A pirates only real form of wealth came from raiding, and taking treasure. As long as no one died, it wasn't as much of a problem though. A town protected by the government was insured against pirates usually. She took a post on the railing of the ship. It was no use for a sharpshooter to get close, so she'd defend the ship and the backs of her crew.

Oliver was snoring at a table in the bar with a drink in his hand when the cannon shots awoke him and destroyed the wall and whizzed over his head. He groaned as he sat up and wiped his mouth. One of his neighbors shook him and started to drag him away while yelling something about pirates. "What... Pirates?" He grumpily shook his arm free from the man and stood up straighter. "Lemme get a look at em!"

Oliver walked towards the man at the bar demanding drinks and sat next to him. He stared at the man awhile then smiled. Whoever this guy was, he was a MUCH better specimen of a human being than these townspeople. But the clothes could just be covering things up. "Wish I had you on an examination table. Look a lot better than my ugly neighbors." He turned and brought his drink to his lips to find it empty. He sat it down rather disappointed. "Ah. So, you're with the group making all the noise? Are they as good looking as you?" Oliver leaned on an elbow as he questioned the strange new man.

Taiga was still standing at the docks watching the towns people scattering, the terror was amusing. A gun sounded and Taiga looked at his own chest, a small bullet sized hole with fire climbing out of it. Of course it closed back up and Taiga walked over to this man grabbing his face and heating his hand to 400 degrees Fahrenheit melting it from the bone killing the man. Taiga dropped the corps and turne back to the village smiling. Perfect. The sounds of the Marine base alarm was even better, Taiga grasped his blade and unsheathed it pointing it own an at a 45 degree angle along with his arm. He walked casually toward the oncoming Marines, his face filled with utter joy as he grew closer an closer.

Quinn dashes through the alleyways, keeping out of the direct path of the Marines and the returning fire as he utilizes the full abilities of his Umi-Sen Ken. Snatching valuables, money, gold, food, water, ale, rum, beer, some kind of juice he found. Gunpowder, bullets, jewelry, in a smaller personal bag he takes some fine glass ware, which he won't be selling. Rather while in a more secluded area, he smashes the glass in the bag, powders it by stomping on it, then hangs the bag which was tough enough to take the smashing and the digging of the glass, to the back of his belt on the right side, beside his equipment satchel. He continues looting afterwards, most don't even realize he was there until they turn and realize what they have is gone.

When his load gets too heavy he simply lays what he's gotten near the ramp to the ship, for a snatch and grab if necessary, meanwhile he's moving deeper into town, avoiding the gunshots for now..there ARE only four of them and from what he's seen with his eyes so far, bullets won't do much. If they did, then there wouldn't be anymore shots...The Marines would have taken the crew out, the bangs are a good thing. They mean his Crew is still alive and are still wreaking some havoc.
Filling up two more large sacks with all the gold he can manage, he turns on his heel with a wide grin, only for a large Marine to be blocking his path..
Quinn pauses sweat forming along his brow as his grin is frozen in place "O-oi...just...Evacuating.." he says with a nervous chuckle slowly reaching behind him his arm hidden behind the bag, palming something inside his satchel as the Marine growls and steps forward drawing his cutlass.

Quick as a flash, right upon the third step, Quinn's arm whips downward and the room fills with purple smoke and silently he weaves around the Marine and out the front door, hacking and coughing trailing behind his back as he loops through an alley to a side street and makes a mad run for the ship. Why fight when he can run? He has the loot and a guy with that kind of build can't keep up with Umi-Sen Ken and his own natural speed.

Ruzae was in the bar as some guy was talking to him he really didn't much cared of what he was saying just that it sounded confusing and well he didn't care. "Yes I am a part of that group and seeing as i'm not getting any rum I couldn't care less what there doing" Standing up from his seat he would stretch his arms and would pull out his pistol. As a marine would come from behind and stab him in the back and then shot in the face by another.

"Pieces of shit shouldn't have done that" He said as the wounded body parts would reform as he would shoot the marine in the head behind him and the other in the head as well. Turning to the guy who didn't seemed scared at all he would point his gun at him. "Hey you said something about examination tables? So that makes you a doctor or something of the sorts right? If you are come follow me Captain Sunshine might want to meet you." He said as he would exit the bar heading back to the ship shooting at or stabbing any marine that got in his way.

Rose cringed at the cruelty of her captain. Wile the man had fired first, she wasn't sure that lethality was necessary. Quinn just stole and ran, no need for killing. Taiga seemed to just want to cruely cause destruction. This didn't sit well with her, and she considered maybe a "friendly fire accident " was in order... no one would see. Her seastone cartridge lay just at her fingertips, there would be no way the man would even see it coming. But even so..she had joined wanting to try and change him. To try to help this mans soul. She loaded her flash rounds into her rifle, aiming just past her captain. She would just have to take down the marines before him. She fired a flash round that would explode in front of the marines blinding them, and her captain if he didn't hear the shot. Next she switched to explosive rounds. They were non-lethal, but packed enough punch to knock out the average man. She fired continuously, taking out any that came near her captain. There wasn't a way he would know her true intentions, and would likely just admire the fire support.

Oliver gasped in surprise and smiled wide as he watched the man's body take the attacks then form back to normal. He laughed wildly and clapped his hands for this man. "Wonderful! Maginificent!" He rose to his feet, excited to meet someone with this strange but awesome power. "Yes, yes, I'm a doctor! I'll gladly follow you! Is everyone on the ship like you? Oh, I can't wait to meet them!" He grabbed his case of medical tools and gayly followed the man back to the ship, seemingly oblivious to the chaos around him. He was simply estatic to be getting on a boat with at least one beautiful person. 

He only stopped when one of the dying marine's grabbed his coat and held on tight. "Hm?" He crouched down to look at the man and sighed. "Sorry, but I'm in a bit of a rush and you don't have much time. I'd appreciate it if you could let go before you go into a death grip. There's others who require my assistance." The Marine looked up at him with despair and released his coat to quietly die. Oliver smiled and stood back up. "Good man. Drift off in peace now. It'll only hurt a little while longer." He turned and continued following the smoke man to the boat, letting the Marine drift into the next life.

Taiga simply sheathed his blade an did a spinning pivot on his toes, during the turn he wave his left hand through the air towards the Marines who had fallen after the flashing and the shots. Their bodies ignited and burned to a crisp, simple a mere 100 Marines charred to the bone nothing too big. He would be walking towards the ship, officially pissed that they only sent 100 hundred Marines he would walk on to the boat making one final announcement. "These 3 Marine ships.... Take all their weaponary and resources load them on our ship an let's go." with that he would enter his own personal room under the steering but not quite under the deck with the rest of the crew.

Quinn sets down the last bag of loot with a breath of relief, having escaped the brawny Marine and his sword. He's too pretty to be brutalized, especially by a neanderthal as slow as that.
Quinn chuckles to himself before he hears a guttoral roar in the distance, causing his face to pale slightly and his expression to freeze, slowly he looks over his shoulder and flinches backwards taking one step back as his sight catches the marine, still aways a way charging towards him...All by his lonesome..

Okay, he can't let them get the loot back, he can't afford to let them on to the boat, so the plan is simple, he'll curve around and grabbing the pottery from the house he-
*BOOM*
Quinn's thoughts pause and he reels back shielding his face from the heat with his right arm, peeking through his eyelids his eyes suddenly open wide in both surprise, shock and a bit of horror at the state of the town...they can't repair this, no chance..
He feels a twinge of sympathy for the Marines, but they WERE coming at them with the intent to kill, so he's less sorry for them...
But still...That Smoking guy and Taiga...
He thinks this particular crew might be a bit too cutthroat for him...
Maybe he should rethink this, he's got Taiga more loot then the other guy even bothered to carry, so Quinn thinks he's earned his keep..

Now he should cut loose, they don't agree on certain things obviously...So it's best they go there separate ways. He could have incapacitated all those Marines rather then kill them..But the town is the real tragedy, he made sure to grab every coin that could be made, but left supplies enough to survive and rebuild..
Now all that's been turned to ashes..These people are in some serious trouble now..
He sighs slightly and shakes his head in a bit of remorse. "That was a bit much..." He mutters in a slightly bitter tone.

Ruzae was pissed for not getting anything to drink and the fact that captain sunshine burned those marines to crisp. Not even caring for their families. "Captain Fucking Sunshine! The fuck is wrong with you? Now those poor souls family can't even recognize them and I didn't get a drink!. Also there's this doctor guy here that probably wanted to join but I don't care cause i'm leaving to go drink myself away now show your face so I can punch it in!!!" He yelled for anyone to hear he would then turn to Quinn and face him. "And you Purple Head shouldn't have joined a pirate crew you would've been better as a marine or bounty hunter or just a bartender cause it seems like all you did was run and steal!" Of course he was still pissed at everyone he would then go towards a marine ship and bring his things. "I give no fucks what so ever about this crew now seeing as you are insane and now i'm going to leave before more marines come and to go find another bar...if anyone wants to join me then i'm fine with that but if none of you don't See you all later or never" He said as he stood on the Marine ship looking over towards the others.

Rose felt the tension in the air and wondered about her decision. Should she have shot him? She would have saved all the lives of those marines... and stopped this mans rampage. She could still do it.. no this was her mistake to bear. She had joined the wrong people, that she saw. She didn't want to follow Ruzae however, he seemed to be a man just after alcohol. Instead she snuck off the ship when no one seemed to be looking and entered one of the marine ships. Once the pirates left she would go somewhere else. She figured this man wouldn't want her anyway.

:Attempted Exit:

Oliver stood and looked around in confusion. What in the hell were these people doing? He saw somebody with a gun glinting in the sunlight climb onto another boat, one guy burned everybody up, the smoke guy got on a third boat and then there was some purple haired guy that he didn't even know was there! This group was obviously falling apart all ready. Great, just great. So with a sigh, Oliver set down his first aid-kit. "All right, who here WANTS the doctor to come with them!? I'm great at what I do and can save a life! Or end one. Whatever you're needing. The point is, if you want me to come with you, raise your hand and take off your shirt! Otherwise I ain't movin from this spot!" Oliver took a firm stance and looked at the pirates who were becoming disjointed and wondered just who he'd go with. "Damn I could use some rabbit stew. Ok, if you don't wanna take off your shirt, presenting food is also acceptable!"

With everyone in shambles Taiga simply walked on to his now empty ship, full of loot he grabbed one bag of the resources and tossed it on the dock. "Here. Use that to get where you all need to, Ruzae. I have alcohol in the lower deck, are you coming or not?" He smiled an continued speaking "Don't worry we are going to a main land island soon, it is solely to relax. So you coming?" Taiga untied the rope on the docks and threw it up on to the ship. His face was full of disappointment, he walked up the stairs an onto the ship preparing to leave the port and the island.

Quinn isn't much in the mindset of arguing with some drunk so he just scoffs and walks towards one of the Marine ships, he takes the bag that was presented since the Smoking guy was already on the ship..
And to be fair Quinn DID get almost ALL of the loot...Actually he DID get ALL of the loot, some smoking power doesn't make you a good pirate and saying he'd be better off as a Marine!? Those are almost fighting words! Still, he's gotta get outta here before back up from the Marines base arrives...
So with that in mind, he hops onto the ship the sharpshooter hopped on, he'll ride with this lady until they reach the next island, then he'll split...

He'll have to find another crew, no pirate makes it out on there own for very long and he's a social creature at heart. Casting one last glance towards Taiga, he frowns before looking away and moving to prepare to ship off, he picks up the anchor before hoisting the sails, he then flicks his hand behind his shoulder aiming towards the steering wheel. For once he's not in the mood to talk, so he needs someone to steer and currently he needs to start tying things off.
