Flowing Water perceptive style

The general philosophy of the style is to learn to read the opponent, ascertaining their weaknesses, and striking at weaknesses or the most necessary parts of the body for the opponent’s fighting style. For instance, if fighting a boxer, the biceps and quadriceps would be targeted due to their important. A fighting style revolving around kicks would have the feet targeted constantly.

Name: Basic observation

Description: The user focuses on carefully observing the movements of another person, ascertaining their attacks, so as to be able to better counter. The user can compare actions they have just seen to actions seen before to get an idea of what the opponent will do.

Abilities: When the user has observed (from up to 30 feet away) a skill/technique used, the user learns how the skill is used. As a result, when dodging or counterattacking any such skills, the user is at 150% speed, due to a full understanding of the skill’s movements. Note that this does not allow the user to copy other skills, since the user will not have trained to learn them. They only get faster when trying to dodge or attack the opponent.



The speed boost doesn't stack with other speed boosts.


(It should also be noticed that attacks the user cannot see, such as “Cat out of the Bag” or stuff that is not an actual attack such as the “Shave” movement of Rokushiki, cannot give the user a speed boost, since in the first case the user cannot see anything at all, and the second case is not an attack.)

Usage: no cooldown, passive ability. Can be used alongside other skills/techniques.


 

Name: Counter strike

Description: The user counter attacks pressure points, either to slow the opponent or to deal damage.

Abilities: The user can only do this when the target is using a skill the user has observed before. If the user hits the opponent’s limbs, the opponent’s speed when attacking is reduced by 90% of the prior number. If the user hits the opponent anywhere else, the user’s attack strength is at 125%

Usage: 1 per post, no cooldown. Can be used alongside other skills/techniques.


 

Name: Leg sweep

Description: Having analyzed the opponent’s movements, the user attempts to unbalance the opponent by kicking at the opponent’s legs.

Abilities: This attack has half the normal attack strength, but if it connects successfully, will knock the opponent’s leg/legs out from under them. The opponent's speed is reduced to 90% of the prior number for anything specifically using the legs.
 
Usage: Can be used alongside other skills/techniques that do not conflict (this cannot be used at the same time as a different kick for instance)

The first two, I am very iffy with, not because of the idea of boosting stats, we already have that. The problem is that they stack. For the last one, it is not needed, as a leg sweep is nothing special. Fix it.

ooook... looks like some things I need to make blatantly obvious lol lets drop this one for now -_-
